The Theological Origin of Systems Science: Warfare as an Agricultural System

By
Dallas F. Bell, Jr.

Far back in the ages,
The plough with wreaths was crowned;
The hands of kings and sages
Entwined the chaplet round;
Till men of spoil disdained the toil
By which the world was nourished,
And dews of blood enriched the soil
Where green their laurels flourished.
—Now the world her fault repairs—
The guilt that stains her story;
And weeps her crimes amid the cares
That formed her earliest glory
The proud throne shall crumble,
The diadem shall wane,
The tribes of earth shall humble
The pride of those who reign;
And War shall lay his pomp away;
The fame that heroes cherish,
The glory earned in deadly fray
Shall fade, decay, and perish.
Honor waits, o’er all the Earth,
Through endless generations,
The art that calls her harvests forth,
And feeds the expectant nations.
—William Bryant1

Enhanced by innate math logic, the first scientific observation, theory, and proof made by man was theology or the study of the self-evident Creator.2 The next was the science3 of cultivating animals and plants called farming, husbandry or agriculture (meaning field, cultivation).4 The first man and woman’s children, Cain and Abel, also cultivated plants and animals.5 However, Cain’s incoherence with theology and agriculture made him angry enough to murder Abel whose agriculture was coherent with true theology.

By the beginning example of Cain and Abel, the relationship between theology, or religion, and agriculture is epistemologically entwined. Therefore, the nonlinear model for an agricultural system includes theology or religious (meaning reverence) beliefs. An agricultural system is an assemblage of components unified by their interaction and interdependence during operation.6

Agriculture’s system has input that is theological (perception, knowledge, experience, and moral etc.), physical (temperature, precipitation, wind,7 altitude, slope, soil,8 plants and biological/animal behavior9 etc.), and economic (farm size, transportation, market,10 technology,11 government,12 and human innate intellect and temperament13 etc.). It may be observed where farming is less developed, physical factors are usually more important, but as human inputs increase, these physical controls become less significant. This system model can be applied by professionals14 to all types of farming, regardless of scale or location. The variations in the input are responsible for the different types and patterns of agriculture around the world where over 1/3 of the population is employed.

The theological, physical, and economic input informs the farmer’s decision which creates the patterns and outputs. If the output exceeds input there is profit and an incentive to continue. If output is less than input there is loss and decreased incentive to continue. If output and input are somewhat equal the stability may be sufficient incentive to make the decision to continue, this may be influenced by tradition, inheritance, or other vocational and capital investment options. Each of the three possible outcomes are fed back into the decision-making process of the farmer15 along with unusual events of loss, such as drought, hail, disease, war, and negative government interference etc.

Around 1714-1700 BC, Joseph, the son of Israel a cattleman, used correct theology and agriculture to save Egypt’s system by storing produce during seven high output years to compensate for the predicted seven low output years.16 In the seven years of the last days,17 there will be an artificial food famine intentionally orchestrated by the evil leader of the New World Order.18 The prophet Amos, a farmer,19 said this period will also feature a contrived famine of truth.20

Kautilya (Vishnugupta aka Chanakya) is credited with writing Arthashastra (c. 400 BC), meaning ‘The Science of Gain” or the “Science of Polity.” He explains in Book I (Chapter II, The End of Sciences) the connected Hindu religious beliefs of Anvikshaki (yoga etc.), Vārtā (agriculture, cattle-breeding and commerce), and Danda-Niti (science of government). In Book I (Chapter III, The End of Sciences), he lays out the Hindu caste system. The next to the lowest caste (Vaisya) is to study agriculture, cattle-breeding and commerce and the lowest caste (Sudra) is to serve in agriculture, cattle-breeding and commerce while the highest (Brahman) is to study sacrifice etc. and the second highest (Kshatriya) is to perform sacrifices etc. Book I, (Chapter IV, The End of Sciences) is more detailed about vārtā and dandaniti. Success with vārtā, he reasoned, means there needs to be danda punishment to keep people on the right track. The punishment can not be too severe so as not to create repulsion, and not to be too mild so as to not become contemptible. When danda is awarded correctly, he observed, it causes people to be devoted to doing right and being good producers, but when it is ill-awarded it causes greed, anger, and excites fury etc. even among the ignorant.

The Catholic Thomas More began writing Utopia in 1515 and it was published in 1516. Like Kautilya,21 he covered husbandry (agriculture),22 punishment,23 and moral philosophy.24 He explained that Christian individual freedoms were necessary yet promoted Catholic communism25 and explained that Christian religious tolerance was a societal necessity26 yet promoted the Catholic burning to death of people that disagreed with him.27 Murdering Russian Communists liked his work so well they authorized his Utopia as one of the first books allowed after the 1917 revolution.28 Many of More’s ideas are reflected earlier by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engel’s Manifest Der Kommunistischen Partei (1848; Manifesto of the Communist Party aka The Communist Manifesto).29 Scriptures say every word of God is pure and adding to them will cause Him to reprove you and you to be found a liar.30

Taoist binary universe beliefs of the false union of 1 (yes) and 0 (no) are embedded in the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations’ 1997 book on agricultural systems. It is authored by the now deceased Douglas McConnell and John Dillon, from the department of agricultural and resource economics at the University of New England (Armidale, New South Wales, Australia) and is titled Farm Management for Asia: A Systems Approach.31 The United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization’s (UNESCO) Orwellian32 motto is “Building peace in the minds of men and women.”33 Its Director-General is the Jewish socialist (socialism is deceptive tyrannical communism) Audrey Azoulay. George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four was a scathing refutation of the utopian ideal. The slogans of the nightmarish “Big Brother” rule over society were “War is Peace,” “Freedom is Slavery,” and “Ignorance is Strength” etc. Scripture proclaims, in the “last days,” those anti-Christ to the “Prince of Peace”34 will say “Peace and Safety” then destruction will come.35

Chronologically, soon after agricultural systems, scientific observations turned upward ad astra, to the stars—(agro-) astronomy. Systems of astronomy systems in ancient societies are studied in ethnoastronomy and archeoastronomy. Systems of astronomy were noted in in the oldest biblical book of Job.36 Their fixed order and characteristics were analyzed37 laying the foundation for research today. Astronomy was briefly addressed in the Arthashastra (Book I, Chapter III). More wrote of devising instruments for astronomy in Utopia,38 which naturally led to the field of (agro-) physics39 and (agro-) medicine40 linearly separated from theology, agriculture, astronomy etc. Of course, evolutionists unscientifically promote astronomy or physics etc. as the first science.41 The emergence of spacetime in the frame of reference of the observer is applied by physicists to the elucidation of various concepts in biblical theology, i.e. the view from above or vantage point of God versus the view from below or the vantage point of humans.42

As human population increased, the ideas and possessions of groups had to be defended (see endnote 5). The indigenous people of the Amazon, such as the Ecuadoran Huaorani or Waodani (meaning true people associated with past being a savage), and the people of the Andaman Islands off the coast of India, such as the Sentineli, has been recently observed. Their hunting and gathering efforts were lethally protected from perceived threats, including Christians with a beneficial educational mission to those primitive regions. Since the first encounter with Christians in 1956,43 the Christianized Waodani, self-renamed Waorani, have advanced in many areas, especially agricultural efficiency. Unfortunately, the 2018 Christian encounter with the Sentineli44 is not yet as successful, largely due to the Indian government’s Hindu philosophy, led by anthropologist Madhumala Chattopadhyay, to prevent their being educated, especially by Christians. Martyrs know Christ, as pontifex (bridge-builder), willingly laid down His life for the propitiatory (the atoned) and that there is no greater example of love than to also lay down one’s own life for one’s friends.45

In preindustrial societies, most soldiers were farmers. Many Greek authors, philosophers, and statesmen either drove an ox or wore a breastplate, such as Hesiod, Archilochus, Tyrtaeus, Aeschylus, Aristides, Sophocles, Pericles, Socrates, Thucydides, Xenophon, Demosthenes etc.46 In the Peloponnesian War, the farms in Attica were destroyed in the battles with the Spartans.47 Destruction of farmland (agro-warfare) was crucial to winning war strategies. The Egyptian pharaoh Kamose boasted of his conquests over the Hysos, “I shall drink the wine of your vineyards…cut down your trees.”48 Plato urged soldiers to only carry away the annual harvest of their conquests.49

The science of warfare was biblically established.50 Its system included espionage51 and the war strategy of the enemy of my enemy is my friend (Latin amicus meus, inimicus inimici mei).52 Mathematically, the enemy (C) of my enemy (B) is my friend (A), which is C B and A B then C A,53 and medically implies a fistula, at least, between A and C.54 Book I (Chapter X-XIV) of Arthashastra pointed out the need for spies (satri) and their employment. The war maxim of the enemy of my enemy is my friend has been loosely associated with Book VI (Chapter II). More covered warfare in Book Two of Utopia55 and spying.56

Of course, there is a systems science of warfare. In addition to traditional main areas of war, such as land, air, and sea forces and equipment etc., there are domains in outer space, cyberspace, wireless communications space, biological and chemical space, and neuro/psychological space, e.g. conflict resolution etc. Karen Tokarz, professor of dispute resolution and mediation at Washington University’s School of Law, explained in an October, 2021, email exchange with Dallas F. Bell Jr. that she does not know of a reference that addresses dispute resolution and mediation (conflict resolution) as a systems science or being part of a systems science. Disputes between finite intellects will inevitably occur and that conflict should be mediated and resolved for peaceful scientific coherence (see endnotes 3 and 5) as a systems science.57

Alexander Petukhov’s research team, Institute of International Relations and World History at Lobachevsky University, wrote (2018) on mathematical models of social conflict. “Society is a multidimensional, social and physical space reflecting the ability of one individual to reach another individual with his communication field, that is, to influence that individual, his parameters and the ability to move in a given space.” The social distance ∆ x = xixj, where x is the coordinate in the social and physical space, i, j = [1, N], where N is the number of individuals or consolidated groups of individuals (between them should be considered a conflict).

In 2021, theoretical neuroscientists, Dominik Bach, Bach Lab at the University College London, and Peter Dayan, biocybernetics at Max Planck Institute in Tübingen, were working on the neurology of individuals in defensive modes.58 In an October, 2021, email exchange with Dallas F. Bell Jr., Dayan explained “that quite a bit of contemporary theoretical neuroscience—trying to understand how interacting components over many scales achieve control theoretic ends—is recognizable as an outgrowth of cybernetics and systems scientific thinking that was born in the middle part of the last century. Issues of systems identification, optimization and dynamic function are central—but the language and formalization has changed a bit”…but need not be pugilistic. It is appropriate to look at system vs. system confrontations as they develop.

The 1991 Gulf War and the 1999 Kosovo War waged by the atheistic US military used overwhelming stealth air technology, among other technologies, to comprehensively dominate their Iraqi and Yugoslavian enemy’s systems. The Taoist/atheistic Chinese military (People’s Liberation Army, PLA) saw this and formed a new strategy to defeat future enemies, especially the US.59 They wrote in military journals that system destruction warfare must integrate forces to be employed in system vs. system operations,60 not the least of which is the enemy’s intelligence gathering and evaluation processes.61 The Chinese went further and apparently falsely believe the sum of their collective systems are actually greater than the parts, a Taoist overcalculation.62

In 2021, the arrogant atheistic US military officially lost the many year war in Afghanistan against tech systems they easily overwhelmed. The stone age Muslims defeated the superior US systems, as they did years earlier with the atheistic Russian military, by not confronting them head on and by simply maintaining their theological will to win. The US did not learn the lessons by the Russian defeat nor did they learn the lessons in Vietnam after the inferior Vietcong defeated a superior French military and many years before that had defeated the Chinese military. Substituting troop annihilation for systems annihilation is often a losing strategy when there is a superior theological motivation for soldiers to endure. A Christian soldier named Demetrios63 of Thessaloniki, has been called the patron of agriculture64 and the patron saint of soldiers. He was murdered by Roman authorities c. 306 AD. The Roman empire has long since ceased to exist but around a third of the world is Christianized today.

In September, 2021, the Catholic US President issued directives for the US military to force the scientifically unapproved vaccine for the Chinese virus (COVID-19) on its soldiers.65 After accepting many proven vaccines since taking the military oath, they knew the Christian troops had demonstrated theological discernment to avoid this medical experimentation. As a result, the ranks of the special operation’s units are being lowered to a state of unreadiness. In this regard, the Chinese have already reached a point of defeating that intelligence system of the US military without lifting a finger. Additionally, prospective highly intelligent and capable Christian US recruits are also dropping in numbers. Moreover, Christian US citizens, especially with military training, are cautious about theologically supporting the hostile atheistic US government. C’est le commencement de la fin.66

Brown University scientists reviewed the data of the cognitive development of young people during the Chinese virus era of mandatory government mask wearing and social distancing (Sean CL Deoni et al, August 2021, Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Early Child Cognitive Development: Initial Findings in a Longitudinal Observational Study of Child Health). The IQs went from just under 100 in 2019 to 77 in 2021, with males and lower socioeconomic families being the most effected. Controls were ran on the three early childhood development categories: the early learning composite (ELC), the verbal development quotient (VDQ), and the nonverbal development quotient (NVDQ). The ELC dropped from just under 100 in 2019 to around 80 in 2020, and to 77 in 2021. The VDC went from a 100 average in 2018 to 90 in 2020, and around 70 in 2021. The NVDQ averaged around 105 in 2019, 100 in 2020, and around 80 in 2021 It is only rational for US Christians to make plans for self-defense against the atheist US government’s growing aggression towards them. T. S. Elliot wrote (1934), “Here were decent godless people: Their only monument the asphalt road And a thousand lost golf balls.”67

In the September, 2021, debut release on the findings from a new University of Virginia Center for Politics/Project Home Fire study of the political, social, and psychological divides between Christianized Republican and atheistic Democrat voters, they highlighted that fully 46% of the 2020 presidential election voters they surveyed at least somewhat agreed with this statement: “The situation in America has reached the point that I would be in favor of the [Republican voters: more conservative “red” states / Democrat voters: more progressive “blue” states] seceding from the union to form their own separate country.” Support for this statement was quite broad: among Republican voters, 52% at least somewhat agreed with this statement, as did 41% of Democrat voters.68 The rotting moral corpse of America can be smelled around the world. This may be deceptively observed with the Shinto, Buddhist, and Taoist Japanese relativist tradition of aesthetics as mono no aware ([the natural] pathos of things). The US will soon fall as Rome before it and Christianity will grow as a family. Leo Tolstoy wrote “Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.”69

The reality of religion itself is increasingly under specious attacks. Donovan Schaefer,70 a professor of religious studies at the University of Pennsylvania, wrote the book (2015) Religious Affects: Animality, Evolution, and Power. In his writings and interviews, he contends humans are not unique in connecting with things of perceived power in religious rituals. Thusly he concludes, animals have religion, e.g. the observed so-called prelinguistic dance of chimpanzees at a waterfall is defined by him as religion. Schaefer explains sensory relationships with the environment evokes awe and reverence and is not linked to language and belief but affects (meaning influenced by emotions). (See his recent interview “In the Beginning Was Not the Word.”71) Sensory stimulation of emotions is not religion for a dancing chimp or a turtle speeding up to eat a piece of lettuce or for someone observing two naked people having sex in a field (pornography) etc. An actual religious experience, as the Hebrew King David wrote in Psalm 19, involves simultaneous reverence for creation and recognition of needed atonement from the Creator (understanding what is good and what is evil), which is intellectually balanced with sensory based emotions.72 Revealed by the Holy Spirit,73 Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a prominent theologian, explained how his intellect needed emotion to authenticate his religious experience.74

The desire by finite intellects to disregard reality has been famously seen in the 1961 equation by astrophysicist Frank Drake; N = R* x fP x ne x fl x fi x fc x L.75 His bias to find Godless life in the Milky Way caused his disproven input (ne, fl, fi, fc, L) to create his desired output which is predictably supported by those with the same Godless bias and motivations. Enrico Fermi noticed the human desire to ignore disproving evidence and still make high estimates for false proof anyway making for them a paradox for their false hope. They make a binary decision to trade the truth of God (1) for a lie (0).76 The basic sequence for Drake’s scientific fallacy began with Adam and Eve observing x and theorizing 0 and proving 1 (see endnote 5), then Darwinian evolutionists observing biological life on earth (x) and theorizing DNA increasing (0) and a fossil record that supports transition biology (0) and proving the truth of God’s biblical record of Creation (1), then Drake observes the proven 0 observation of evolution and rebelliously theorizes its extension to the universe (0), which over many decades of research has predictably proven to also be 0; so N = 1 x 1 x 0 x 0 x 0 x 0 x 0 or N = 0.

Thousands of years ago the Bible said the pre-existent God created animal life after its own kind,77 made them both male and female,78 and allowed for them to multiply etc.79 The false alternative today is to intentionally stop the scientific method after observation with theorizing. The theory itself is to replace the absence of proof by replication. Theory is to cyclically become the “overarching concept that explains a large number of facts...to be used to make predictions about future observations,” including agriculture,80 by faith. The theory of evolution is to systematically explain the observable diversity of life,81 male and femaleness,82 and sexual multiplication etc.83 while neglecting prohibitive evidence (0), such as in the preceding paragraph. Evolutionists know that 1 x 0 = 0 validity to their overarching concept(s).

In conclusion, the theological reality is the Creator placed mankind in this earthly garden. Agriculture was immediately developed to maintain the plants and animals. An understanding of astronomy was soon needed to adjust to the sun’s heat by day and orbit for annual seasons as well as the moon’s gravitational effect on ocean waves for fishing and commercial sea travel. The physics of earthly and heavenly things followed. The health of people, animals, and plants caused the advancement of medicine. Warfare became the pragmatic approach to making a region’s set of systems more efficient. Inductively, warfare is an agricultural system of true theological reality. Simply put, a righteous farmer is a soldier and a righteous soldier is a farmer, e.g. Abraham,84 Gideon,85 the Israeli King David,86 and Homer’s Ulysses,87 Oliver Cromwell, and George Washington etc. There will be a point in this garden of entropy of a last war. The Bible is the only religious text that treats all fields of knowledge as systems science, such as the biology and spirituality of humans by spiritually mediating on His law so the material neurons will be trained,88 and so is steadfastly adhered to by martyrs.89 The holy (meaning whole and complete) Bible explains how the nations in rebellion against the Creator will come together in a delusional attempt to defeat God’s nation of Israel. Their fractured rejection of reality causes them to use legitimate systems science to create a coherent logic apparatus to systematically counterfeit entwined truth for their “great global reset” and “the new world order” of lies. That increased world environment of lawlessness will cause the (agapē) love of most people to grow cold (see endnote 5).90

Renown men rise up,
Burn incense in God’s censers.
Earth opens her mouth.
91

Obviously, the infinite God will win against finite man’s systems and the corrupted earthly garden will, thankfully, eternally end.92 There has only been one spiritual and material embodiment of all systems science—Christ Jesus. He is God93 (theology), the Good Shepherd94 (agriculture), the Morning Star95 (astronomy), the Word96 (physics), the Physician97 (medicine), and the King of Kings and Lord of Lords98 (warfare). Only His redemptive salvation is three-dimensional: past, present, and future.99 That redemption, from the One that saw Satan fall from heaven at the speed of light,100 gives all His joint-heirs access to all He has simultaneously in their dimensions.101 Finite man needs no more validating empirical proof of the theory of the infinite holy God than that observation—ad quaecumque evenient paratus.102 “Give praise to our God, all you His bond-servants, you who fear Him, the small and the great. Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty reigns.”103

(The 1874 oil on canvas painting, Cromwell on his Farm by Ford Brown, depicts Oliver Cromwell observing a bonfire on his farm in Cambridgeshire and thinking of Psalms 89:46, "How long, O Lord? Will You hide Yourself forever? Will Your wrath burn like fire?")

3 Science means know and by itself can prove nothing. 4 Gen. 1:26-30, 2:5-9, 15, 19-20 etc.

5 Gen. 4:1-5. The first man, Adam, and the first woman, Eve, observed (x) that the tree forbidden by God was good for food and theorized (binary of 1 or 0) that if they ate from it they would not die contrary to God’s warning (untruth or F or 0) and did eat from it proving God’s warning that they would die (truth or T or 1, Gen. 3:19) and disproving there would be no consequence making them the first human scientists (Gen. 3:1-6). Adam and Eve lived in a paradise where all food etc. was cultivated with modest effort (Gen. 2:15). But after their sin (lawlessness, rebellion against God) they needed to struggle for their food etc. and thus agriculture was begun as it is known today and the future need for deadly warfare. The wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23). Sin is the acceleration of disorder or entropy. From Godly order came disorder. Lawless human behavior creates either the course of following that behavioral pattern from dominate neurological input or becoming emotionally calloused from being wearied resisting that dominate evil pattern. The more the lawless behavior the less the love. Biblically, it should be noted that animals were also changed after the original sin (Gen. 3: 14-19) from vegetarians (Gen. 1-29-30) to meat eaters (Gen. 9:3) that naturally are competitive and experience death, but in the future will return to peaceful coexistence (Is. 11:6-9). Claus Westermann’s (1984) Genesis 1-11 (Augsburg Publishing House, Minneapolis, Minnesota, pp. 156-158) explains the Egyptian, Sumerian, Babylonian, and Greek cultures believed man and animals had a period of vegetarian diets. The soil and plants were also changed after the fall of man (Gen. 3:17-19).

9 Evaluation of all biological species should be made regarding friend or foe (pests that require active management). The first man, Adam, named all animals after his observations of them from his position of Divine authority (Gen. 2:19-20) (see endnote 5). Julia Albright, veterinary behavioralist professor at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Medical Center, works and writes in the field of animal behavior, such as her recent paper “Measurement of neurotransmitters excreted in the urine of behaviorally healthy dogs in home and boarding kennel condition” in the Journal of Veterinary Behavior. In her email exchange with Dallas F. Bell Jr. during November, 2021, she noted that the many animal behavior textbooks are filtered through various frameworks – ecology, genetics, experimental psychology and learned theory, human-animal interactions, and of course her specialty, clinical/psychiatric... 13 Before creation, God knew who He would justly and efficiently endow with what abilities (financial and otherwise), such as for investing (Matt. 25:14-30) or for giving (Mark 12:41-44). Groups with IQ’s and temperament in the range of below average can not rationally blame their lack of success on anyone but themselves and will observe they can not produce what people with average and gifted IQ’s can. Friend or foe pest evaluation concludes they can choose to either have a near starvation existence, accept generous handouts from producers, or take from producers by lying, stealing, and murdering. Those lacking in moral self-control and choosing the latter, foes or pests, will need to be treated as criminal enemies of civilization if that civilization is to survive. (See endnote 9.) Unlike insects etc., people choose to be habitual offenders against society and may fall into the category of sociopath, consider anyone except themselves and their close circle as enemies, or psychopath, consider everyone as enemies. Behavioral records self-identify societal enemies who should be treated as militant armed combatants under the penalty of death.

32 George Orwell credits Yevgeny Zamyatin’s book We for inspiring his Nineteen Eight-Four (1949) novel of a surveillance slave state. Zamyatin’s work was to counter the pro-communist books by Edward Bellamy (1888, Looking Backward), William Morris (1890, News from Nowhere), and H. G. Wells’ (1905, A Modern Utopia), which were spawned by More’s Utopia.

41 See Marko Krco’s opinion “Astronomy is the oldest science. This is because even the earliest cavemen would look up at the sky and wonder about what makes it run. People saw that the motions of the stars were regular and predictable. The first use for Constellations was probably religious. People thought that the Gods lived in the heavens and that they created them. Many cultures believed that the positions of the stars were their God's way of telling stories. So, it seemed natural to recognize patterns in the sky, give them names, and tell stories about them…A more practical use for constellations was agriculture. Before there were proper calendars people had no way of determining when to sow, or harvest except by the stars. Constellations made the patterns of the stars easy to remember. The ancient peoples knew for example that when the constellation Orion started to be fully visible winter was coming soon. Or they could look at the Summer Triangle to know when Summer or Spring were coming as well. The stars allowed farmers to plan ahead and form agriculture, and constellations made it easier to recognize and interpret the patterns in the sky.”

The unity of science may be observed in November, 2021, by the physics’ combination of statistical mechanics and number theory etc. regarding the 1859 Bernhard Riemann conjecture. Infinite zeros on a vertical line expand by ½ (prime numbers), like the atoms of a gas fluctuating in a seemingly chaotic motion (1827 Robert Brown-ian motion) while abiding by rules. 57 Joy Harjo (born Joy Foster of the Muskogee Creek Nation) is the 2019 United States Poet Laureate. In her 2015 Conflict Resolution for Holy Beings published by W. W. Norton and Company (New York) pp. 77-80, she gives the point of view of a half native American concerning the historical U.S. conflict with native Americans and instructs on mediating the conflict between others emphasizing thanks and forgiveness, p. 84. Simultaneously, she exhibits animosity towards those that conflicted with native Americans, p. 72, yet she writes of praying for her enemies, p. 75, and sings of praying for them (her 2021 music CD is titled I Pray for My Enemies). Harjo acknowledges, in the Muskogee Creek Nation creation story, that they (humans) corrupted the perfect world (animals, plants, sky, and earth) given to them, pp. 14-15, while also believing that there is no separation between humans, animals, plants, sky, and earth (Channette Romero’s 2012 Activism and the American Novel: Religion and the Resistance in Fiction by Women of Color by the University of Virginia Press). She quotes Phillip Deere “We are the people who still yet speak the languages given to us by the Creator” (“How it Came to Be,” Akwesasne Notes, Summer 1978, Rooseveltown, New York) in her book, pp. xiii, 1. Taoist, Buddhist, and Shinto followers accept an incoherent yin and yang view with all sides being equal. Hindu belief is in material karma with eventually everything working out. Followers of Islam believe in murdering those that disagree with them, simply put their might makes them right. The Old Testament begins with Adam and Eve having a conflict with God and they were 100% wrong and God was 100% right, which justly resulted in their ejection from Eden. As we can see from that biblical example, conflict is from compliance with God and His law and noncompliance with God and His law. Abel was 100% compliant with God and Cain was not resulting in Cain compounding his error by murdering Abel. The New Testament explains how God reconciled with rebellious man by forgiving him if he repents, like the sinner on the cross, or does not reconcile with man, like the unrepentant sinner on the cross. We can see how man can model God’s mercy by forgiving a party not in compliance with God’s law if that party repents and begins to comply with God’s law. Unfortunately, American religious leaders incorrectly believe the goal of conflict resolution, like New Agers and atheists etc., is compromise. The Christian goal of conflict resolution is 100% compliance with God and His law. Enforcement of this principle was modeled by Moses when he and his appointees used God’s law as the arbiter of conflict and Christ Jesus demonstrated resolution of conflict by running off the merchandisers in God’s temple and calling religious leaders and lawyers hypocrites and liars. He made no incorrect expedient political compromise with noncompliant people. Many self-identified Christian leaders in America are not following Christ Jesus’ example by boldly confronting noncompliance with God and His law as taught in Scripture. For example, one religious leader recently addressed the unjust theory of one party being inherently guilty and another party being inherently innocent of any wrong doing by correctly appealing to the generic sufficiency of Scripture to mediate all conflict. He acted cowardly by not applying the Scripture directly to the circumstance, possible in the satanic desire to prevent resistance to what the Scripture says. (“Questions from every direction,” Baptist & Reflector, November 10, 2021, p. 3.) (Note: Christians must be careful to follow Christ Jesus’ model and not call His followers cowards, as with the example of Peter denying Him three times and cursing, because we do not know their hearts and what they are going through: Matt. 26:33-35, 69-75.) To not comply with God and His law is to be His enemy. Amos called enemies of God cows and John the baptizer called them vipers. Actual followers of Christ Jesus would model His behavior, especially toward His enemies. Jesus said if you are ashamed of Him and His words and deny Him, He will be ashamed of you and deny you before His Father in heaven [Matt: 10:33; Luke 9:26 etc.]. Peter followed Christ Jesus then cursed and denied Him, but ended his life as a faithful follower martyred for His name’s sake. Paul started as a blasphemer of Christ Jesus but later became a faithful follower martyred for His name’s sake. There is eternal hope for the repentant!

The xitong-system is a discrete system that carries out specific functions often as an element of a larger tixi-system. A fenxitong-system generally denotes a xitong subsystem. A peixi-system signifies a system of deployment, such as an anti-aircraft platform defending an urban area. The tizhi-system refers to a human organizational hierarchy, such as a military command structure.
